Is It Possible to know Jesus Christ?

Yes, it is possible. Jesus tells us why he came to earth in John 10:10. I have come that they (you and I) may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. The question is; how do we find this abundant life? This life can only be found in and through Jesus Christ – there is no other way. Jesus said in John 14:6; “I am the way, the truth, and the life”. The abundant life comes from knowing the truth. John 8:32 says, “And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free”. Jesus sets us free from our sin by offering forgiveness that only He can offer. Jesus died on the cross that we may know Him as our savior. It’s interesting to think of Jesus being born in a stable (a helpless little child) then to die on a cross (helpless like a child) not for himself ……… but for you and all mankind. Yes, it is possible to know Jesus Christ. He is asking you to invite him into your heart, to forgive you of your sin, to set you on a path of worth, value, and abundant life. Here’s how:

  • Romans 3:10 “As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one.”
  • This means every child ever born or ever to be born. Something must happen for us to have eternal life.
  • Romans 6:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
  • No one is or can ever be good enough within ourselves…..
  • Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”.
  • Without knowing Jesus our sin can never be forgiven. We die with our sin contained with us……… however, the gift of God spoken of here, is Jesus Christ who is willing to forgive all our sin.
  • Romans 10:9 “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus can believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

You see, Jesus has already paid the price of your sin with his life.  Now, you can be saved. Here’s how:

  • Pray and ask Jesus to come into your life.
  • “Jesus, I have sinned, I need your forgiveness…… come into my life, set me on a course bound for heaven……come in Lord Jesus.”

We hope that you know Jesus Christ as savior.  If you will E-mail us we will help you get started by sending you free information on your new faith walk with Christ.

Our prayer for each visiting this site is for you to be involved in a local bible believing, bible preaching church of your choice.

The Gospel Message

Know that God loves you.

  • “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16
  • “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8

Everyone is a sinner.

  • “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” – Romans 3:10
  • “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” – Romans 3:23

The consequence of sin is eternal separation from God.

  • “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” – Romans 6:23

God forgives those who admit their sinful nature, repent, and request His forgiveness.

  • “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” – I John 1:9

Jesus died on the cross so that through the shedding of His blood we might be made righteous and be reconciled unto God.

  • “For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” – Matthew 26:28

We are reconciled unto God when we believe in the death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ as atonement for our sins, and receive Him into our lives as Lord and Savior; placing our faith, hope, and trust in Him.

  • “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” – Romans 10:9-10

Don’t delay. Believe in Jesus and receive Him into your life as Lord and Savior today. You may not have the opportunity tomorrow.

  • “Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” – James 4:14
The Meaning of Life: It’s All About Him

According to Solomon:

·         “The words of the Preacher, the son of David, King in Jerusalem.  Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.  What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?” – Ecclesiastes 1:1-3

·         “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:  Fear God, and keep his commandments:  for this is the whole duty of man.” – Ecclesiastes 12:13

According to Jesus:

·         “Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, ‘Master, which is the great commandment in the law?’  Jesus said unto him, ‘Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.’” – Matthew 22:35-40

·         “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, ‘All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:  and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.’  Amen.” – Matthew 28:18-20

According to Paul:

·         “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:  all things were created by him, and for him:  And he is before all things and by him all things consist.  And he is the head of the body, the church:  who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.  For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;’” – Colossians 1:16-19

A Prayer of Faith

The following is a prayer of faith for those who realize their need for forgiveness. The Bible tells us whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.  (Romans 10:13) Once we realize our need for forgiveness we then, without delay call on the Lord Jesus to forgive our sin, come into our heart, and save us. Jesus promises to save us from our sin if we will ask. Please ask without delay.

  • Lord Jesus, I ask for you to forgive my sin, come into my heart, and set me free. I acknowledge you as Savior and Lord of my life.  Jesus, fill me with your spirit as I begin this new walk with you.  In the sweet name of Jesus, I pray.

After asking Jesus to come into your heart you should tell another believer immediately, follow in baptism, and begin worshiping in a Bible-believing church of your choice.
